HB 1940: An Act amending the act of May 31, 1945 (P.L.1198, No.418), known as the Surface Mining Conservation and Reclamation Act, further providing for definitions, for operator’s license, for bonds, for health and safety and for remining of previously affected areas; authorizing removal of coal refuse; further providing for financial guarantees, for reclamation bond credits and for Remining Environmental Enhancement Fund; and providing for the Department of Environmental Protection’s authority for the awarding of grants.
